Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Pros: Great Lightsaber fighting, Darth Maul, and pretty much it.
Cons: Jar Jar, Terrible dog fighting scene (Naboo Star fighting segment), Pod Racing was bleh, un-memorable characters, forgettable storyline.
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Pros: Yoda fighting being a novelty. Cool looking Jango Fett.
Cons: Hayden Christiansen, more forgettable characters and storyline, Hayden and Padme love had no chemistry and was very forced, Anakin is very coward like, Boba Fett is annoying, terrible light saber fight scenes, R2 can all of a sudden fly, comedy scenes very poor, dumb title name, very boring overall, and no dog fighting scenes.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Pros: Its the end of Lucas's cash whoring business....for now. Nice throwback to A New Hope towards the end. The extermination of the Jedi's were sad but kinda cool. Millenium Falcon can be seen and it looks better than the rest of the movie.
Cons: Hayden Christensen (again), more dumb and unwatchable love scenes, very dumb dialogue, Anakin's fall to darkside was poorly done and not plausible, everything was rushed due to the first two screwing everything up, R2 can fly again, Dog fighting scenes were terrible, losing the will to live (nuff said), Jar Jar doesn't die, first half very boring, and Darth Vader being a sissy.
Well, I think Episode 3 was the best of the prequels, but what was probably screwed was Episode I and II should had merge together to become one film and Episode II should had focused more on Anakin's darkside. III should had been where he totally had no hope after years of trying. He just became evil instantly in episode III. Its so sad Lucas can't direct worth for jack, nor can he write. Attack of the Clones is probably the only SW film in my book left forgotten. I seriously did not see how this was an improvement over Episode I. Okay, well Episode I did suck for the most part had it not been for the multiple fight scenes with Darth Maul. II just flat out dragged and the fight scenes were hardly entertaining. III showed a lot of promise, but due to Episode I and II telling a story that nobody cared about, the damage was done. Overall, Lucas screwed up. He learned nothing from the directors who did Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi. Now that's how you tell and end a story.
